In September 2020, Will moved to Mons in Belgium to begin working in Europe! His 1st 2 performances were with Clowns Without borders in Brussels at a refugee center, and a small family show at the ‘Jardin Suspendu’ in Mons.
This piece is a reflection of childhood imagination and playfulness. Will uses subtle and delicate club manipulations along with high energy, large visual patterns and dynamic movement to ‘WOW’ the audience. The character takes the audience through a range of emotions from surprise to excitement using charm, misdirection and human imperfection.
Perfect for cabarets, parties, & events.
Duration: 5 mins
Discipline: Club Juggling (1-5)
Genre: Family, Cabaret
This is a full length show about a lost traveller who carries his life on his back. Using a mixture of clowning, theatre, and technical skill, the audience is led on a journey through the nonsensical mental landscape of a man obsessed. Combining many forms of object manipulation through contrast and rhythm, the character builds a home, and invites you to share it with him. Still in creation; ready for June 2016.
Great for festival stages and kid’s parties.
Duration: 30 mins
Discipline: Juggling (Clubs, Balls, Diabolo, Poi)
Genre: Contemporary Circus
This show was created in collaboration with Circus Alba on the island of Coll in October 2015 with 5 performers. The show is a fun-filled blend of juggling, acrobatics, and contemporary clown with a dysfunctional office team locked in a tea cupboard. Watch as they step on each others toes, and get on each others nerves trying to find a way out. Expect abstract, biscuits, and chaos in this amiable group collaboration.
Duration: 40 mins
Discipline: Acrobatics, Juggling, & Clown
Genre: Family, Contemporary Circus

Fire performance was one of the first avenues Will began to explore back in 2009. Since then Will has worked closely with PyroCeltica and Delighters, both based in Edinburgh, on group shows over the last 5 years touring with up to 20 performers with large scale fire theatre shows to festivals around Europe.
Will also performs graceful, impressive solo fire routines with staff, juggling, skipping rope and other firey objects you may have never seen before! Prepare to be amazed by these mesmerising and dangerous feats of technique and dance.
Playing with fire can be dangerous, but when the risks are managed, the rewards are huge. Learning about fire safety, and about how to dance with fire props can be inspiring and build confidence. Will Has many years experience working safely with fire, and loves to share his enthusiasm for this art form.

Engaging with Circus Arts brings great rewards. Juggling and acrobatics are Will’s primary disciplines, and has been teaching these for over 4 years. Over the last year Will has participated in a teacher training internship with Bright Night International (Glasgow) and received a ‘Basic Circus Trainer’ certificate from the European Youth Circus Organisation (EYCO) after completing the CATE teacher training course in March 2016.
Learning circus skills is hugely beneficial for the mind and body. It has been scientifically proven that learning to juggle can increase the grey and white matter in the brain… and its FUN! Acrobatics are a great way to get physically fit, core strength is essential to balance and to support the weight of someone climbing on you. You can expect to improve your coordination and concentration, as well as develop creativity and teamwork.
All workshops are 1 hour minimum, and can be combined.
Suitable for all ages.

Will is one of the four tutors currently bringing up the new generation of circus artists in Edinburgh. The ArtCore project is aimed at 16-24 year olds to learn and develop their skills, work as a team to create a performance piece and perform it to the community. It has been great to watch these youngsters develop and grow in confidence.
Will was part of an 18 man cast to make a circus show to tour around Scotland for the Queen’s Baton Relay in the build up to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. They spent 8 months developing skills in acrobatics, manipulation, parkour, and aerial before developing a 45 minute, high energy jaw dropping show called ‘Thresholds’, and then touring around Scotland for a month.
Will was born in London, UK, 1990. As an student, Will was heavily involved in the school drama club, performing in school productions as well as directing and creating smaller plays, focusing mainly on clowning, comedy and stage presence. In 2008, whilst studying at the university of Edinburgh, Will began to explore the art of juggling as a performance tool.
In 2013, Will graduated with an MA in Business, and had been the treasurer of the juggling society for 3 years. Over those 5 years, Will found his passion in skill sharing through performance and workshops, and embarked on a journey to develop and innovate the circus community – from festivals and birthday parties to corporate events and community projects, circus is for everyone!
Will is a great performer with an amazing ability to make extremely hard tricks accessible to any audience. His easygoing nature and love of all types of circus also makes him a great teacher. I’ve been lucky enough to work with Will on many projects and wouldn’t hesitate to come back to him for pretty much anything! Rob Thorburn – Circus Alba
Will has been entertaining audiences all over the world for the last 3 years, mainly in the UK and Europe. He has worked as a solo performer on many stages, but has also developed group shows with upwards of 15 performers. If you are interested in booking several performers, that can be arranged.
Will is sociable, smart and funny, and can really get a party going! Fiona Davies – Women in Rural Enterprise
Will is highly professional in his approach and great fun to work with. On stage he is engaging and talented; off stage he is enthusiastic with a desire to keep learning and improving his craft. In short – HIRE HIM! Ian Fraser – Edinburgh Performers
Will’s energy, warmth and charisma are brilliant, he is capable of filling a stage, charming a street theatre audience or drawing in a small group. Will is highly skilled and infectiously enthusiastic about his craft. Phyllis Martin – Ninja Unicorn
Will Be’s dream is to spread the joy of circus and inspire as many people as possible. To engage young and old minds to experience new things, to learn, to share, and to play… Together.
